Fundraising for charities is in the very fabric of DeebsDay.
The festival was first born as a fundraiser for Marie Curie in 2008, after a family member had passed away unexpectedly.
As demand for the festival increased year after year, fund raising for charity also gained momentum.
Over the years, we are proud to have raised over £9,000 for charity, supporting Marie Curie, Shelter, and The Hospice of St Francis.
The teams from the charities come down to enjoy the day, engage with Deliebers, raising money in their buckets and signing up new donors as they go.
This year we are so pleased to be supporting our friends at The Hospice of St Francis - a charity close to our hearts, as well as Shelter, helping to address the growing issue of homelessness in the UK.
